The Bloomfield and Cooper Community Area (BACCA) Firewise Community is a proposed Firewise Community that encompasses the areas surrounding North Bloomfield Road, Cooper Road, and Highway 20. We anticipate official approval in 2025.

May 2, 2025 – BACCA Meeting & Certification

There will be a community meeting on Saturday, May 31st, 2025, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the Diamond Arrow Conference Center. More details to follow.

BACCA is waiting for the final steps to be completed by the Fire Safe Council of Nevada County before we can become recognized. At this time, BACCA anticipates final recognition in early 2025.
