August 2025 – BACCA Officially Recognized as a Firewise USA Community

Dear North Bloomfield and Cooper Road Area Neighbors:

It is with great pleasure that your local Bloomfield And Cooper Community Association (BACCA) Firewise Steering Committee announces its recognition as a National Firewise USA Community. This recognition comes from the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and CAL FIRE. It has taken your steering committee three years of hard and determined work to obtain this recognition.

We want to thank all of our local neighbors for their help and support over these last three years as we worked to gain this recognition. As we move forward, please stay tuned for more information on our many events, programs, and activities to help us keep our neighborhoods fire resistant and safe.
