- Firesafe Council of Nevada City – The Fire Safe Council of Nevada County provides resources to help homeowners learn how to adapt to living with wildfire while teaching and encouraging neighborhoods to come together to take action to reduce their wildfire risks.
- Nevada County Coalition of Firewise Communities – The Nevada County Coalition of Firewise Communities, formed in September 2017, is an all-volunteer organization that supports approximately Nevada County’s Firewise Communities by facilitating idea-sharing, educating residents on wildfire preparedness, and advocating for better fire-safe practices and policies.
